The existing house is situated on a beach in the distinctive
Polynesian style with tall peaked roofs. Priority was
given to respecting the original architectural style and
the vernacular of spatial relationships that are entailed.
Furthering this approach, all was done with native materials
and by local specialized craftsmen. |
