We provided a lower course of cement plaster through detailing
and added cornice work at the top of the building returning
the structure to the three-tier model of “base-shaft-column”
that Louis Sullivan had developed so much elsewhere. We
also refurbished the front entry with new steps and railings,
and designed the awnings with a new brass mounting system. |
