The exterior of the old building, a former funeral home
on Lombard was maintained and we were charged with redoing
the space planning, the interior paneling, workstations,
and main Lobby including the focal stair. The two story
commercial building was turned into expansion offices
for the company and linked to the older building across
the alley between them. Skylights were added to the commercial
building and elaborate paneling and workstations were
incorporated to match the interior we provided in the
older building. Our challenge in the commercial building
was to redesign the fenestration and facade transforming
it from a Restaurant to Offices. |
