The design is intended to be a fresh interpretation of
the gas station ethic. Respect and acknowledgement for
the Mill Valley heritage is introduced with heavy timber
posts and braces reminiscent of trees and via a low-lying
residential scale building. Projecting wood-sheathed bays
and glass storefronts help with merchandizing and provide
natural light to interior spaces. |
