We have been working on this project for more than 8 years.
Originally we did a feasibility study on whether to remodel
the then existing Church or to tear it down and build
a new structure entirely.
The existing church caught fire in 1999 and was destroyed.
We helped the church settle the insurance claim and then
started with a new major Programming effort. We designed
an entirely new and expanded Church on the same site.
The basic form is derived from the Pastor's preferred
seating and preaching arrangement integrated into the
site restrictions and with considerations towards the
views of the Bay. |
